I really enjoy your writing. This particular piece struck home with me. I lived with my ex- for 17 years who is a consummate extrovert. So much so, in fact, that I often felt inadequate in not being able to keep up. We eventually got to a point where he would socialize on his own when I had had enough. I'd need my own down time. The comments about Folsom so ring true. It's especially difficult when one partner harkens to the call while the other ridicules. Just found your web site. I really enjoy your writing.
