Ella in kimono

This is Ella, my stepsister’s daughter, wearing the little kimono I bought for her on Hayes Street.

“When people ask me where she got such a fabulous outfit,” my stepsister said, “I tell them she has a gay uncle in San Francisco. Everybody kind of nods knowingly.”

Next up, a trip to the salon!

Yeah, bein’ the gay uncle - it’s an awesome responsibility.

The Catskill house may be ready to inhabit before next winter - c’mon back, bring the Fireplug, hole up, and finish the book! Missin’ ya, Mike.

WHAT a cutie patootie!!
I guess I can’t really claim any relation to her, can I? I am just sure there is a Brandner resemblance in there somewhere though…. Perfect gift from SF!!

When this crazy work/school circus is over you will be hearing more from me. Hugs to the Fireplug.

as i know, being a “gay uncle” lets you get away with a lot in the gift-giving department.

she looks adorable. good choice!
